I have lived and worked in St. Louis my entire life. After receiving my BFA in Ceramics at Webster University in 1996, I began working at Krueger Pottery in Webster Groves. While there, I became a glaze expert and electric kiln repairman. Teaching pottery classes for adults and children, as well as hours spent in classrooms fixing kilns, led me to teaching elementary school art.
Since 2003, I have taught in public and private elementary and middle schools, while continuing to exhibit my pottery and sculpture. I maintain a studio in my South St. Louis house. Teaching and making art continue me on my path to pursue learning and sharing for as long as I get to be alive.
