This year we are celebrating all the different faces of Craft Alliance (CA)! From the children in our summer camps (see the months of January and March) to the visiting and exhibiting artists in our studios and galleries (see February and April) -- it is a wide range of people that contributes to the creative mix that is CA!

Craft Alliance members helped us accomplish great things this year:
*CA ended its fiscal year with a balanced budget.
*CA launched a groundbreaking new program, the Fashion Lab: A Fusion of Art and Fashion, which brings designers and speakers who are at the forefront of fashion to St. Louis, including FENDI, Timo Weiland, Todd Thomas, and Valerie Steele, the director of the Museum at FIT. The program also features exhibitions of art that reference fashion, like the current exhibition by Guerra de la Paz, Follow the Leader.
*CA’s Grand Center satellite in the Kranzberg Arts Center is bustling with activity!
    -CA opened a new woodturning studio in its Grand Center facility in the Kranzberg Arts Center, the only studio of its kind in the region.
    -CA was one of only 16 recipients of a PNC grant that allows us to offer free classes on Saturday mornings to children ages
5-17 and their parents/guardians. The program gives families a chance to work with professional artists in five different studios: clay, wood, fiber, metals and graphics.  The PNC Arts Alive Family Arts Program began on October 1, and actively involves an urban, under-served and economically disadvantaged audience.
