Jacqueline Charak, dear friend and supporter of Craft Alliance, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008.

Known for her warm spirit, graciousness and generosity, Jackie was a remarkable woman, full of creativity and energy which she lent to Craft Alliance as an exhibition patron, gala chair and member of the Gallery Committee.

In her memory, we are establishing the Jacqueline Charak Visiting Artist Scholarship Program.

Visiting artists enrich the St. Louis community by sharing their expertise in Craft Alliance's educational workshops. The Jacqueline Charak Visiting Artist Scholarship Program will further the careers of local and regional art students and artists by enabling them to participate in master classes with exhibition artists from across the country.

Jackie will be greatly missed. We hope that her passion for art will live on through this scholarship program.
