Yael moved to St. Louis from Tel Aviv in 1987. Yael’s love of pottery blossomed during her early training at Craft Alliance.
Soon after these first classes, Yael studied at St. Louis Community College under Bob Allen and later at Maryville University. She now works out of her studio at her home in Webster Groves.
Her signature glaze is a glossy cobalt blue which mirrors the colors of her Mediterranean homeland. A Middle Eastern influence is also apparent in the round forms, soft curls and distinctive silhouettes of her ceramics.
Each piece is food-safe and oven-safe. |
