Stacy Harkins grew up in a house overflowing with crafts. She dabbled in knitting, crocheting, sewing, and gardening, and more. Making jewelry has always been her passion. She has designed and sold jewelry since age 13.
Stacy attended Cornell University and received a degree in Horticulture and Plant Sciences. These studies cultivated a deep appreciation for natural color palettes, as well as the beautiful and intricate details found in flowers and plants.
Using genuine gemstones and high quality metals, Stacy creates each piece by hand in her studio just outside of New York City. Many pieces feature intricate wire-wrapping and wire-weaving, which requires precision and an acute attention to detail. The artist handcrafts all ear wires and clasps herself.
