All of the silk is hand loomed and sewn by women's co-ops in Cambodia. These organizations provide employment to the neediest people of Cambodia, including land-mine victims and widowed mothers.

Most items are made at the craftperson's home, where they can work at their own pace, and at the same time tend to their children and families. Silk is hand-processed and spun using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. It is woven on traditional wooden looms, usually located under the artisan's house in the shade.
