Mary Kanda began making jewelry in the early 1990’s. Her jewelry consists of constructed silver forms inlaid with glass beads, and grouted in a mosaic style. Her inspiration comes from gardening, tribal arts, glass, and ceramics. Her work has been highlighted in a number of books and periodicals.
