Sarah Hirneisen majored in glass at Rochester Institute of Technology before receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design.  In 2005, she founded Mediums to Masses.  Each kiln-formed piece produced by Mediums to Masses is hand-crafted in her studio in Oakland, CA.  Vibrant colors are the key to her work; vintage and mod textile designs allow these colors to vibrate and give her art a truly unique look.
