Artist Boyan Moskov was born in Ruse, Bulgaria and was drawn to art from an early age. He began developing his techniques in 1987 at the Troyan Art School in Troyan, Bulgaria. Boyan then continued his education at the Sofia Art Academy (Sofia, Bulgaria), followed by his international debut working as a potter in Sweden. In 2003 Boyan returned to Bulgaria to start his own pottery business.

Boyan’s wife Anna (a native of New Hampshire) was traveling as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria when they met. The couple married in 2007 and moved to New Hampshire where they refurbished a house for their new family. Boyan also transformed the house’s barn into a pottery studio where he creates his colorful and functional work.

All items are hand thrown on the wheel, stamped, formed and manipulated so no two pieces are the same. All Boyan Pottery is high fire and is microwave, dishwasher and food safe.
