Material Culture: Craft of Israel, curated by Shoshana Dagan, was on exhibit at Craft Alliance September 9-October 24, 2004.  The exhibition showcased the work of leading craftsmen currently residing in Israel and who originate from cultures and traditions from across the globe.  The beauty of the work transcended the hardship and difficulties the artists have endured while working in Israel, while also expressing each artists' individual culture and background.  This full-color catalog documents the work in the exhibition and includes a curator statement and artist statements.
