Product Description:
The Curious Teapot, co-curated by David Charak and Julie McClennan, was on exhibit at Craft Alliance from January 13-March 5, 2006. The exhibition examined artists' interpretations of the teapot form in various media, including clay, fiber and metal. Loosely based on Alice in Wonderland, the exhibition combined literature and the artwork of surrealism to examine the concept of the imagination run wild and how different forms of artwork communicate the ideas of the artists.
This full-color catalog poster commemorates Craft Alliance's 10th Biennial Teapot Exhibition. Surrounding the logo in swirling array, exquisite teapots display the work of each artist represented in this whimsical exhibit.
