Visiting Artist Program
The Visiting Artist Program has been in place since the beginning of
Craft Alliance. In the first ten years, grants from the National Endowment
for Humanities helped fund a Visiting Artist lecture series. Since then,
Craft Alliance has attracted internationally renowned artists for lectures,
demonstrations, hands on workshops and exhibitions.
The Visiting Artist Program is designed to introduce the public to and
educate the public about fine contemporary craft and to offer everyone
an opportunity to learn from established fine craft artists.

Weekend Studios for Adults
Weekend Studios are a series of workshops designed to introduce, educate
and allow students to experience many of the creative possibilities at
Craft Alliance. Many of the workshops are conducted by well established
craft artists who are supported by the Visiting Artist Program, and scholarships
are available to students who qualify.
There are approximately 12 Weekend Studios workshops that are designed
seasonally and cover all of the craft media. Workshops are announced
in each class session catalog and on our website.
