Craft Pulse I
On view in the Staenberg Gallery
May 2 – May 31, 2025
Craft Pulse I shines a light on the creative energy that fuels our education programs at Craft Alliance. This exhibition celebrates our talented faculty, artists who not only teach but maintain their own creative careers. Their work reflects the depth of experience, skill, and passion they bring to our classrooms and studios daily. Our teaching artists are at the core of Craft Alliance’s mission. They are mentors, makers, and community leaders who help shape the future of contemporary craft in St. Louis and beyond. Through their dedication, they inspire students of all ages and skill levels to explore materials, develop their voices, and engage with craft in meaningful ways.
In addition to faculty work, Craft Pulse I features pieces created by students in our Crafting a Future program. These young makers have spent the year learning in our studios, developing their skills, and finding confidence through craft. Their work stands as a powerful testament to the impact of hands-on education in a digital world. Together, these works celebrate the community we’re building—one that values making, learning, and growing through craft.
