You will receive an email confirming your enrollment. Please contact us if you do NOT receive this email.

Cancellation, Withdrawals, and Account Credit Policy

Effective Until: August 31, 2026

Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes/workshops/camps based on enrollment. If we cancel a class/workshop/camp, you may choose a class credit OR a refund. For the class credit option, you will not pay another processing fee for the replacement class you select. For the refund option, you will receive a refund of the amount you originally paid, minus the credit card processing fee.

Withdrawals and Refunds

If you must cancel, please contact us at michael.stoecklin@craftalliance.org or 314.725.1177 x 105. Refunds will be given if cancellation occurs 4 weeks before the first day of class. Refunds will be mailed by check, minus a $50 processing fee per course registration. They may take up to 2 weeks to be processed. Supply fees are nonrefundable. If we receive a dispute, claim, and/or check bounce or chargeback from your credit card issuer for any reason, you agree to pay all costs and expenses incurred.

At Craft Alliance, we are committed to providing high-quality craft education and supporting our community of artists. To better sustain our programming and streamline our operations, we are updating our transaction policies.

Effective September 1, 2026, Craft Alliance will implement a no-refund policy for all new customer transactions.

Craft Alliance reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes, workshops, or camps based on enrollment.

1. New Terms (Effective September 1, 2026 and After)

This section applies to all purchases, registrations, and transactions completed on or after September 1, 2026.

• Scope of No-Refunds: A strict no-refund policy applies to all class registrations, workshops, camps, merchandise, and events.
• Account Credits: Monetary refunds will no longer be issued for any reason for transactions made on or after this date. Account credits will be issued in their place.
• Student Withdrawals: If you must cancel your registration, please contact the registrar at michael.stoecklin@craftalliance.org or 314.725.1177 x 105. Withdrawals will result in an account credit only.
• When Craft Alliance Cancels a Course: If Craft Alliance must cancel, combine, or reschedule a program purchased on or after September 1, 2026, you will receive an account credit for the full amount. You will not pay an additional processing fee for the replacement class you select. Note: Monetary refunds are not available for these transactions.

2. Terms for Purchases Made Before September 1, 2026

Transactions completed on or before August 31, 2026, remain eligible for refunds under our previous guidelines:

• Student Withdrawals: Refunds will only be granted if the cancellation request is submitted to the registrar at least 4 weeks before the first day of class. Approved refunds will be mailed via check, minus a $50 processing fee per course registration. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing. Supply fees remain strictly nonrefundable.
• When Craft Alliance Cancels a Course: If Craft Alliance cancels a program that you purchased before September 1, 2026, you may choose either a class credit OR a monetary refund (minus the standard credit card processing fee).

Policy Administrative Notes

Note on Chargebacks: If we receive a dispute, claim, check bounce, or chargeback from your credit card issuer for any reason, the customer agrees to pay all costs and expenses incurred by Craft Alliance.

We appreciate your continued support of our mission and your commitment to the craft community. If you have questions regarding a specific registration or purchase, please contact our administrative office.

Tuition/Studio Fee

Tuition covers one class/workshop/camp per session. Studio fees include general supplies, tools, equipment maintenance, and materials for class projects. Fees may fluctuate due to raw material prices. Craft Alliance tools and materials must not be removed from the studio. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Insider level and higher memberships receive a 15% discount on camps. Friend level members do NOT receive a class or camp discount.

Inclement Weather Policy

If class needs to be canceled due to inclement weather, you’ll receive an email. You can also check our website or social media channels for closures.

Photography Policy

You agree that Craft Alliance may use your or your child’s photograph to promote its programs.

General Studio Policies

• No pets or firearms are allowed in the building.
• Only enrolled students can attend classes or camps.
• Parents may visit but not attend children’s camps or classes.
• Students should refrain from bringing toys or non-essential items to camps/classes. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to disruptive students.
• We have an Anti-Bullying policy and may refuse enrollment to students who bully others. Parents will be notified and asked to pick up their children. No refunds will be given.

Participation Waiver

In registering, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Craft Alliance and its employees against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from participation in CA’s programs. Further, you authorize CA staff and faculty to seek emergency medical help if this becomes necessary. You realize that every effort will be made by CA staff to contact the emergency contact person in the event of a medical emergency, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CA personnel in seeking medical care for your child. You also agree that CA may use your (or your child’s) photograph in the promotion of its programs.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy and do not collect information about site visitors’ identities. We use your personal information only to respond to your inquiries. We do not rent, sell, or share our lists of donors, members, or students with other organizations. Read our full privacy policy here.
