Bring your designs to life underfoot! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the art of rug tufting using a tufting gun, yarn, and fabric to create their own colorful, textured piece.

Guided by an experienced fiber artist, you’ll learn the fundamentals of operating a tufting gun, stretching your backing cloth, and designing with line, shape, and color. Students will also explore finishing techniques like trimming– Rugs will be glued and backed and ready for pick up a week later.

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expand their textile skills, this class offers a fun and fast-paced introduction to one of fiber art’s most exciting contemporary trends.
