This is an introduction to the tools, machines, and foundational methods of woodworking. Students will learn the ins and outs of marking and measuring, hand tools and their use and care, as well as the set up and use of various stationary power tools. Emphasis will be on safety, and the how’s and why’s, and logic behind each tool’s care and use.
