Mary Henderson

Mary Henderson earned a BA in anthropology from Beloit college and a BFA in ceramics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Mary is a full-time studio potter working in St. Louis and exhibiting at Medieval and Renaissance events nationwide. Mary has been teaching at Craft Alliance since the 1990’s and always enjoys meeting and interacting with each new group of students. Her teaching is influenced by a passion for expressive work in clay and study of prehistoric and historic ceramics art and technology.

Mary is much more likely to be found making pottery, interacting with students, or gardening than looking at a screen, so please forgive the paucity of online media presence.
