Casting 2
Expand your casting skills in this intermediate-level course designed to build on Casting 1 techniques. Over six weeks, you’ll explore advanced processes including complex mold making, multi-part molds, centrifugal casting refinement, and finishing methods.
You’ll work on progressively challenging projects that develop precision, surface quality, and design complexity, gaining confidence with studio equipment and problem-solving in the casting process. Individual guidance supports your creative growth and technical mastery.
Prerequisite: Casting 1 or equivalent experience. This class is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials and safety equipment provided. Closed-toe shoes and long pants required in the metals studio. Safety glasses and aprons available onsite.
