Beginner’s Machine Sewing
Build a strong foundation in sewing with this hands-on beginner course! Over six weeks, you’ll learn essential sewing techniques, starting with how to thread and operate a sewing machine with confidence. Through guided instruction, you’ll practice a variety of skills, including seam finishes, hems, zippers, and more—giving you the tools to tackle future projects with ease. As you progress, you’ll create a binder of sewn samples, serving as a personalized reference guide for future sewing endeavors. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to strengthen your skills, this course provides the perfect starting point for your creative journey.
- Note: This course is for adults 16+. All materials are provided—additional materials or kits can be purchased: https://app.donorview.com/ZQ5w5 Students should wear closed-toe shoes in the studio and aprons are available in the studios.
