Change is universal—but how we perceive it is deeply personal. Sometimes it’s welcome, sometimes uncomfortable. But often, it’s transformative.
When I first lived in St. Louis, I was struck by the “Delmar Divide.” As someone new to the city, I didn’t yet understand the complex history that created that divide. And before I had the chance to deepen my understanding, I moved away.
But here’s the unexpected part: the more I visited St. Louis over the years, the more I saw. The more I learned. And somewhere along the way, I began to fall in love with the city—not in spite of its divisions, but because of its resilience. That love brought me back.
And it brought me to Craft Alliance.
We are an organization fueled by change. And by design, our home is on Delmar Boulevard—in the heart of the Delmar Maker District, an area actively transforming how the community sees and experiences Delmar. We’re proud to be part of a growing community of makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and dreamers rewriting the narrative—together.
