Cut/Fold/Press

On view in the Staenberg Gallery

March 11 – April 28, 2025

Juried by Craft Alliance’s inaugural Visiting Artist, Buzz Spector, Cut/Fold/Press brings together compelling work on a seemingly simple material and craft form. The exhibition asks paper artists to explore and consider the many forms that paper takes – books, sculpture, and sheet.

Cut/Fold/Press showcases 41 local and national artists who use paper as their primary medium or create artworks made on, of, or about paper including cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, printmaking, photographs, paper sculpture, 3D, bound books, collage, or as the subject of a video and installation.

Artist Stephen Da Lay teaches in Craft Alliance’s Print & Paper Studio.
