Description

Discover the art of wheel throwing in this beginner-friendly, six-week course! Whether you're new to clay or looking to refine your foundational skills, this class focuses on developing technique, control, and confidence at the wheel. Learn to center clay, pull walls, and shape cylinders, bowls, and plates. Through a mix of demonstrations, hands-on practice, and personalized guidance, you'll improve your ability to create functional pottery. Classes include both individual instruction and group learning, making it a supportive and engaging experience. You can take this course multiple times to build proficiency and advance your skills at your own pace.

Note: This course is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation for this course, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials included. Students should be aware that they may get messy while participating in class and must wear closed toed shoes—aprons are available in the studio.
