

Intermediate Flameworking
Description
"Take your glass art to the next level with this exciting class designed for those who have basic beadmaking experience and are ready to explore more advanced techniques.
In this class, you will learn how to create complex patterns using:
Solid-color stringers and twisted cane (glass helixes)
Encasing techniques to create stunning depth and texture
How to use the magnifying properties of glass to trick the eye and create optical illusions
Experiment with reactive colors to add unique effects to your pieces
Learn how to alter the chemistry of the flame to achieve mirrored glass finishes
You will also be introduced to new tools that can add exciting textures and intricate forms to your beads, marbles, and sculptures.
This class is perfect for those looking to expand their glassworking skills and create pieces that truly stand out!

All necessary safety gear will be provided, including safety glasses, gloves, and aprons. You must wear closed-toed shoes, and natural fiber clothing and long hair must be tied back to ensure your safety while working in the studio."
