"Brighten up your space with beautiful, handmade stained glass decorations! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of glass cutting and the copper foil method for assembling stained glass.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

How to safely cut glass for your project

Using copper foil to piece together your glass shapes

The process of soldering (we’ll be using lead solder in this class) to hold everything together

By the end of the class, you’ll have a stunning seasonal stained glass piece to hang in your window. Whether you're a total beginner or just looking to try something new, this class will give you the skills to create your own beautiful glass art!

Safety Note: This workshop is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation for this workshop, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials are included in your materials fee. All necessary safety gear will be provided, including safety glasses, gloves, and aprons. You must wear closed-toed shoes, and natural fiber clothing and long hair must be tied back to ensure your safety while working in the studio."
