Craft After Hours: Making a Tray
Description
Ready to create your own custom serving tray? In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll dive into the world of handbuilding as you shape a flat slab of clay into a unique serving tray. Get creative by using stamps, carving tools, and even adding little feet for that extra touch of personality.
Once your tray is all set, you'll choose a glaze color to make it shine. After it's fired by our skilled technicians, you’ll pick up your one-of-a-kind tray in just two weeks, ready to serve up your favorite snacks or dishes to friends!
No experience required—just bring your creativity and have fun crafting something special!
Safety Note: This workshop is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation for this workshop, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials are included in your materials fee. Students should be aware that they may get messy while participating in class and must wear closed toed shoes—aprons are available in the studio.
