Fabric Collage with Slow Stitch

Description

In this relaxing and creative class, you'll explore the art of fabric collage combined with the calming technique of slow stitching. Using a variety of fabric scraps, textures, and colors, you’ll create your own unique fabric collage artwork. Slow stitching, a mindful, meditative process, will allow you to stitch your fabric pieces together by hand, creating intricate designs and patterns that add depth and personality to your project.

You’ll learn basic stitching techniques, including hand embroidery, simple running stitches, and decorative stitches, and discover how to combine different fabrics to bring your design to life. Whether you create a small artwork, a decorative piece for your home, or even a patchwork-style journal cover, you’ll enjoy the process of stitching with care and intention.

This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to explore a new way to work with fabric. You'll leave with a finished piece and new stitching skills, ready to continue your slow stitching journey at home!
