Description

"Take your lampworking skills to the next level in this exciting class focused on making lightweight, hollow glass beads. Students will start by learning to create coiled disks on a mandrel, then progress to joining two disks to form a hollow shape. The real magic happens when you use ""puffy"" mandrels to create larger, blown glass beads.

Throughout the course, you’ll explore various techniques for adding surface decoration to your hollow beads, including tips for achieving unique textures and color combinations. This class will provide the opportunity to develop your skills in manipulating glass to create intricate and beautiful pieces.

Prerequisite: Completion of Glass Beadmaking, Introduction to Glass Beadmaking, or Beginning Torchworking.
