Making Cutting Boards
Description
"Create a series of beautiful and functional cutting boards while building your woodworking skills! In this 4-week course, you'll learn how to laminate, cut, and shape different hardwoods into unique designs. We'll begin with a simple cheese board, then progress to more complex forms, including a curvy serving board using the bandsaw and an impressive chevron-patterned board.
Throughout the course, you'll gain hands-on experience with a variety of woodworking tools, including the bandsaw, planer, chop saw, sander, and router. We'll also cover key woodworking fundamentals such as wood types, understanding wood grain, and designing strong and attractive laminated compositions.
This course is perfect for beginners ready to dive into woodworking, as well as more experienced makers looking to expand their techniques.
