Making Enamel Decals | 6/26-7/10

June 26-July 10

Description

"In this fun and creative class, you’ll learn how to apply colorful, intricate enamel decals to metal pieces to create stunning, personalized designs. Using pre-made decals and your own creative touch, you’ll learn how to fuse these decals onto copper or silver, creating vibrant, durable images that will add a unique touch to jewelry, decorative pieces, or small artworks.

We’ll cover the basics of working with enamel decals, including how to prepare your metal surface, properly apply the decals, and fire them to create long-lasting, professional results. You’ll also learn techniques for combining decals with other design elements, like texture and metalwork, to enhance your pieces further.

By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a beautiful piece of jewelry or decorative metal art, ready to showcase your new enamel decal skills!

Safety Note: This workshop is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation for this workshop, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials are included in your materials fee.
