Description

"Take your wheel throwing skills to the next level! This class is designed for students with previous experience on the potter’s wheel who are ready to explore more complex forms and strengthen their craftsmanship. Students will work through specific projects that challenge creative problem-solving, form development, and consistency. The course will also introduce more advanced glazing techniques to help you expand your surface design skills and complete your pieces with intention.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed an introductory wheel class or have equivalent experience working independently on the wheel.

Note: This course is for ages 16+. If you require special accommodation for this course, please contact grant.benoit@craftalliance.org. All materials included. Students should be aware that they may get messy while participating in class and should wear closed toed shoes—aprons are available in the studio. "
