Bring your designs to life underfoot! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the art of rug tufting using a tufting gun, yarn, and fabric to create their own colorful, textured piece.

Guided by an experienced fiber artist, you’ll learn the fundamentals of operating a tufting gun, stretching your backing cloth, and designing with line, shape, and color. Students will also explore finishing techniques like trimming-- Rugs will be glued and backed and ready for pick up a week later.

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expand their textile skills, this class offers a fun and fast-paced introduction to one of fiber art’s most exciting contemporary trends.
